Recombinant Proteins
InSight has successfully developed a wide portfolio of technologies for industrial manufacturing of recombinant proteins.
Our recombinant protein development platforms include in-depth knowledge of- and experience with- various expression systems, including bacterial, yeast, plant, insect and mammalian cells. The proteins are fully developed in house, beginning with the establishment of cloning strategies, expression in suitable systems, creation of cell banks, purification process development, upstream and downstream scale-up and development of analytical assays to determine identity, purity and biological activity.
InSight has developed proprietary bacterial and mammalian expression systems for high protein expression, original, highly-efficient protein purification and separation processes, and novel analytical assays which are applied in some of the developed products in addition to existing analytical methods. Some of these technologies are patented.
